31. Concept of Programming - Adapter The trunk adapter is PBX with E 1

31. Concept of Programming - Adapter The trunk adapter is PBX with E 1 / PRI trunk and SIP extension. SIP trunk of KX-NS 1000 is registered to SIP extension of the adapter. <Programming for the trunk adapter> Software of the adapter is basically same as KX-NS 1000. Features except E 1 / PRI and SIP extension are removed. Therefore programming method is very similar to KX-NS 1000. E 1/ ISDN - PRI configuration is same as programming for KX-NS 1000 PRI card (KX-NS 0290). E 1 configuration is same as KX-TDE E 1 card (KX-TDA 0188). - SIP extension configuration is same as KX-NS 1000. But SIP extension is programmed by default. KX-TDA 0188 401 to 430 for E 1 / PRI 30 KX-TDE 401 to 423 for PRI 23 PRI E 1 / PRI Trunk Adaptor SIP Extension 401 -430 30 ch or 23 ch ID 401 -430 SIP Trunk PRI Card KX-NS 1000 KX-NS 0290 25

32. Concept of Programming – NS 1000 <Programming for KX-NS 1000> The trunk adapter

32. Concept of Programming – NS 1000 <Programming for KX-NS 1000> The trunk adapter is basically SIP provider for KX-NS 1000. Following has to be programmed. - IP address of the adapter as SIP server destination - SIP registration User ID (Password is not required. ) - Connection Attribute : SIP Provider / Trunk Adapter E 1/ ISDN E 1 / PRI Trunk Adaptor SIP Extension 401 -430 30 ch or 23 ch ID 401 -430 SIP Trunk KX-NS 1000 26

33. Concept of Programming - Call <Programming for KX-NS 1000 - CONT> Programming of

33. Concept of Programming - Call <Programming for KX-NS 1000 - CONT> Programming of the trunk adapter is not required for DDI / DIL incoming call from E 1/PRI to SIP extension. It works like DIL 1: 1 without programming and DDI number and caller ID are informed from the trunk adapter to KX-NS 1000. Programming of KX-NS 1000 is required for DDI / DIL. Outgoing call is also programmed for KX-NS 1000 instead of the trunk adapter. E 1 / ISDN E 1 / PRI CH 1 CH 2 CH 30 Trunk Adapter DDI Caller ID SIP Extension 401 SIP Trunk 402 430 KX-NS 1000 Therefore administrator has to access only KX-NS 1000 to change extension number, DDI and so on after dealer installed. 27
