Why is Sixth Form important? �It’s not just about academics, it is about preparing

Why is Sixth Form important? �It’s not just about academics, it is about preparing you for your future. �By 2020 there will be 3 million fewer low skilled jobs than today and you will have had 10 jobs by the time you are 38. You will need a wide variety of skills. Most importantly you will need skills that you can transfer to a variety of different jobs. �You need to know how to make decisions that are right for you and how to face the unknown and knowing what you are capable of.

Punctuality is a requirement of all students Registration is useful for a wide range of activities, including guidance on time management and study skills. It is also a time to receive messages that you may need for your day as well as to receive support with university applications and any other support.

Sixth Form Bursary - Eligibility �Those most in need will be eligible for a

Sixth Form Bursary - Eligibility �Those most in need will be eligible for a bursary of £ 1, 200 a year. This includes young people in care, care leavers, young people receiving income support, and disabled young people receiving both Employment Support Allowance and Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payments. �Other students who need financial support to help them to stay in education or training may also be able to claim a bursary to help with costs of transport, food, equipment or other courserelated costs.
