Social Welfare Society Mughalpura, had been established since 1956 by Mr. Miraj-u-din and Mr Haji Anwar Rasheed.

The aims and object of the Society are: • To inculcate the spirit of brotherhood, tolerance and social service amongst the people in general and amongst the youth in particular and to train and organize them in this behalf. • To create and develop in the youth moral values and desirable attitudes and habits, so as to enable them to become well- adjusted citizens. Capable of securing their own welfare and making the maximum contribution towards the betterment of society. • To work for educational and social uplift of the people. • To work for the betterment of health of the people, improve sanitary conditions and prove other amenities of life. • To help the orphans, Windows and physically or mentally handicapped persons. • To work for the welfare and development of Woman Folk.
