The 8 parables of Mt. 13 provide insight into the Kingdom of God. The first (Sower and the Seed) involves an Introduction as to how people become part of the Kingdom of God. (Through receptive hearts) This parable reveals how Satan seeks to inhibit God’s truth from taking root (and producing fruit) by either deception or competition.

The next 3 parables reveal to us the subtilities of Satan’s “Opposition” to God’s Kingdom. They reveal how Satan seeks to infiltrate God’s work (once it’s begun) producing Contamination (1 Cor 5: 6; Gal 5: 9) and Confusion.
