OVERVIEW • The Higher Education User Group (HEUG) is an international organization consisting of

OVERVIEW • The Higher Education User Group (HEUG) is an international organization consisting of higher education institutions that use application software from Oracle. • Represents hundreds of member institutions and over 23, 000 individuals across the globe. • Includes a wide range of institutions.

MISSION • To educate and advocate by facilitating the sharing of ideas, information and

MISSION • To educate and advocate by facilitating the sharing of ideas, information and experiences among its members. • To provide a unified and effective voice to Oracle on all issues involving the use of Oracle application software in the Higher Education community. • The HEUG achieves their purposes while remaining independent of Oracle.

HEUG ADVISORY GROUPS • The Advisory Groups are composed of representatives from HEUG member institutions with expertise in various product modules and technical areas within the world of Oracle application software. • Facilitating communication about specific product features, problems, and opportunities. • Soliciting feedback from the user community, synthesizing that feedback, and conveying it to Oracle product strategists and developers. • Advocating to Oracle, on behalf of the user community, for enhancements, new functionality, and resolutions to problems. • Administering the relevant track(s) at the annual Alliance conference (i. e. , soliciting, evaluating and selecting proposals, scheduling sessions, collecting feedback, etc. )
