the Montrose Center Our Mission The Montrose Center empowers our community, primarily lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals and their families, to enjoy healthier and more fulfilling lives. Our Vision We envision a healthier society marked by permanent, positive changes in attitudes and behaviors toward the LGBT communities, and the ability of all LGBT individuals to realize their fullest potential. Our People & Programs Our team of state-licensed clinicians, masters-level therapists, skilled educators, support staff and dedicated volunteers work together to create healthier futures for our clients. To achieve the best possible health outcomes, the Center takes an integrated approach to care which includes: a continuum of behavioral health and support services including traditional therapy, peer support, advocacy, case management, education and outreach; access to quality primary care that addresses both physical and mental health conditions holistically; and a range of prevention and wellness programs that empower clients to participate in their own care. 2
