Tillamook District Wellness Committee Goals: 1. Increase participation in free and reduced meal program. 2. 60 minutes of physical activity per day for all students district-wide. 3. Educate all staff about healthy rewards and consequences. 4. Review the elementary health curriculum- determine where and how instruction is being delivered. Tillamook Wellness Efforts • Pay to play fees have been eliminated to ensure all students have access to extra curricular activities • District wellness committee supporting the Tillamook YOW efforts • PE positions added back at the elementary in the 2013 -14 school year Oregon Department of Education – Child Nutrition Programs
