The Compulsory Education Law (EC 48200) in the state of California says that it is the responsibility of every parent to assure that every child between the ages of 618 attends school every day and on-time. CAHSEE (California High School Exit Exam) • Students MUST pass the CAHSEE in order to receive a high school diploma.
