SELF-REFLECTION: YOUR PROFESSIONAL GOALS Which criteria do you want to focus on in your professional goals? Keep in mind that the focus should be on new learning and not on something you already know how to do. Use this formula to begin crafting your goals: Rationale + action step/activity = student outcomes – What supports will you need? – Where can you find the resources you need? HISD GLOBAL GRADUATE 19

T-TESS VS. TADS • Throughout the 2017 -18 academic year, teachers and stakeholders met to discuss the differences between TTESS (the state’s recommended teacher evaluation system) and TADS (HISD’s evaluation system). • The decision was made, based on feedback from teachers and appraisers during multiple feedback and information sessions, to keep TADS and make revisions to the current processes in TADS. • Those revisions are being formulated and prepared for approval. • Changes to TADS WILL NOT occur until the 20192020 school year.
