Connect What is Renaissance 360® and how does it connect to Houston ISD goals for accelerating achievement and growth?
Purpose for Renaissance 360 ® HISD is organized to support all campuses and to meet district-approved board goals for the 2017 -2018 school year. These goals are as follows: • Goal 1: Percent of students reading and writing at or above grade level for grades 3 through English II will increase by three percentage points annually between spring 2017 and spring 2020. * • Goal 2: The percentage of graduates meeting the Global Graduate standards will increase three percentage points annually per year from 2017 baseline up to 85% by 2022. * • Goal 3: Among students who exhibit below satisfactory performance on state assessments, the percentage who demonstrate at least one year of academic growth will increase three percentage points annually in reading and math between spring 2017 and spring 2020. * • *Renaissance 360 will be used to measure progress throughout the year. 4
