Precautionary Measures at Collection Points • As a contingency measure against the spreading of COVID-19, body temperature screening will be set up at the entrance of the above collection points. • All school staff are required to undergo body temperature screening and wear surgical masks before entering. • They should also maintain social distancing while queuing by following the markings on the floor. • Alcohol sanitizers will be provided for school staff to sanitize their hands before entering the collection point. 7

• Due to cancellation of the speaking examination of the two language subjects in the 2020 HKDSE because of COVID-19, the weightings of the relevant components have been adjusted as follows: English Language The result of the Speaking component will be calculated based on the result of the School-based Assessment (SBA) to constitute 25% of the subject total. Chinese Language The Speaking component will not be reported. The results of the other three components will be calculated according to the adjusted weightings, i. e. Reading: 28%, Writing: 28% and Listening & Integrated Skills (with SBA): 44%.
