First: what do you need to know to successfully get to this goal and be prepared for life after high school? ❖ How to earn high school credits ❖ What happens if you do not pass a class ❖ How many credits are required to graduate with a SOTA diploma ❖ How many credits are required in each subject in order to graduate ❖ What is the minimum score required to pass a regents exam ❖ Which Regents exams are required in order to graduate ❖ What types of Diplomas are offered ❖ What things do colleges look for in high school students ❖ What a high school transcript is and what it is used for ❖ How to get involved in activities in high school ❖ Who you can go to in school if you need help

How do I earn a high school credit? ► Pass the class with at least a 65 average ► 65 =D ► If the final average falls below a 65, student will need to attend summer school to make up the credit ► If student does not pass summer school or chooses not to attend he/she must repeat the course during the next school year
