Features in PPMS • • Solutions to Issues All Project data uploaded in database Geo-tagging of projects with option of video/photo upload Dashboard view and generation of customized reports • • Physical and Financial Progress Project Progress monitored by senior management Information provided by agencies in DPR can be validated preventing gaps. Proper Financial Analysis clearly identifies required Budgetary allocation for each project Quick identification of issues results in corrective action at appropriate time – prevents delay • All information about Land Acquisition, Forest Clearance and R&R in one place • Constraints and bottlenecks on Land Acquisition and Forest Clearance, which take significant amount of time can be tracked on a regular basis leading to resolution of issues and the serious issues are flagged to senior management • Public grievances highlighted through citizen interface. • Public Hindrance in case of projects can be notified on real-time basis and immediate action can be taken by contacting relevant authorities. Grievance is also addressed. • All Court Cases and Legal data in a database with option of alerts • Court cases can be tracked on a regular basis and appearance dates intimated in advance, which helps in speedy resolution of disputes. • Information about profile, financial strength, past projects and ongoing projects of various agencies will be captured • Helps in ascertaining the technical and financial expertise of the agencies and the bid capacity preventing quality issues and delay in work • Overall, PPMS will lead to project implementation without significant cost and time overrun by enabling rigorous and regular monitoring of projects and enhanced coordination within the Department Water Resources Department, Govt. of Jharkhand 21
