SHARED CONCERNS ACROSS DOCS: A 2 A SUGGESTIONS ● BFC RECS ● STRATEGIC PLAN • Develop, implement, and/or sponsor new trainings and programs that foster engagement in topics aligned with inclusive excellence (i. e. DEI) such as race, racism, anti-blackness, and recognizing and countering anti-blackness; hold expectations for and develop accountability mechanism for ongoing, in-depth, research-based professional development/learning for faculty and staff (internal and external), graduate students, and administrators. • Conduct across-the-board unit level reviews of tenure and promotion criteria and evaluation processes to identify elements of systemic bias; conduct whole-college examination/equity audit of all Co. E structures including courses for the presence of anti-racism/problackness and racism/anti-blackness to create and enact plans for needed change.
