What is The Purpose of The Gator Club? The Green Level Athletic Booster Club, the Gator Club, is a non-profit organization of parents, coaches, students, faculty, and community members committed to promoting excellence in Green Level High School interscholastic athletics by voluntarily helping to enrich the high school athletic experience and foster success in the classroom and on the field for all students. Helping to fulfill the vision of Athletic Director, Colin Fegeley, we work to provide the financial support and boost school spirit, all necessary to create a collegiate level athletics program at Green Level High School. Statistics show that only 6% of high school athletes go on to play sports in college. By ensuring the athletic department is properly funded, we intend to deliver a collegiate level experience to ALL of our Gator Athletes!
What Does The Gator Club Do? The Gator Club funds approximately 75% of the athletic department’s budget, including capital expenditures (uniforms, equipment, transportation), field maintenance/upkeep, end of season celebration events, subsidize salaries for assistant coaches, and individual team budgets. Before each season, the Gator Club will meet with the team coach to develop a team budget for the year, identifying necessary and discretionary expenses. The Gator Club then works to subsidize this team budget and identify opportunities to enhance the student athlete experience. The Gator Club is the financial component to Green Level High School’s athletic department!
