• As a part of the Lakewood High School Safety Plan, we have adopted a Modified Dress Code. The Modified Dress Code is in effect for the entire school year. • Headphones are not allowed to be in use at any time. Ear buds may be used at lunch and during passing periods. Rules and Guidelines • Pinellas County Policy prohibits students from bringing cell phones to school. If you choose to bring a cell phone, you assume all liability for its use, theft, or destruction. Students and parents are encouraged to download phone retrieval apps (Android Lost/Find my i. Phone), if they choose to bring a phone. A summary of salient points. For an exhaustive list, see the student code of conduct. • Students who are absent must send in a note from a doctor within 48 hours of the absence in order to have it excused. Parents may self-report for the first 5 absences. Beyond this, a note is required to excuse the absences. • This list is not exhaustive. Your student will receive a Code of Student Conduct.
