SAT Overview • Passengers – 2008 – Record Year for Passengers • 8, 358, 515 Total CY Passengers – 2009 – Total Passengers Dropped 6. 3% • 7, 835, 341 Total CY Passengers – 2010 January thru June – Passengers are up 2. 2% over same period in 2009 • Aircraft Operations – Decreased from 165, 149 in 2008 to 154, 307 in 2009 (10% drop) • Cargo – Decreased from 282. 8 million pounds in 2008 to 259. 8 million pounds in 2009 (8% decrease)

As of June 2010, SAT’s Airline Seat Capacity Increased 6. 8% over June 2009.

SAT Airport Overview • Continue to meet with airlines and present business cases that justify new nonstop flights to unserved markets • Incentive program approved by City Council: • Support marketing of new nonstop flights and/or • New air carriers entering the San Antonio market • Recent successes include: • Delta’s reinstatement of the Cincinnati flights in April with plans to start nonstop flights to New York JFK in November • Frontier recently announced nonstop service to Milwaukee in November

SAT Capital Improvement Program (CIP) • $636. 4 million on the 10 -year CIP for SAT and SSF • SAT’s current expansion program is guided by the 1998 Airport Master Plan recommendations, which include: • New Long-Term Parking Garage • New Terminals B and C • Two-level roadway extension to service Terminals B and Future Terminals C & D • Runway and taxiway extensions and airfield upgrades

SAT CIP • Consolidated Baggage Handling System (BHS) – Project Value: $29. 8 million – The BHS is a behind-thescenes structure to house TSA baggage screening equipment – Initiated June 2009, the BHS is due to be completed November 2010

Preserving History • Many of the hangars at Stinson were built prior to 1943 and are considered “historic” structures • In order to expand business development and preserve our rich history, the Aviation Department take great pride in the maintenance and renovation of our historic buildings.
