 • Parallel Lines – lines in the same plane that do NOT intersect.

• Parallel Lines – lines in the same plane that do NOT intersect. Parallel lines have the SAME slope. E 1 -4 E 2 E 3 0

 • Perpendicular Lines – lines that intersect at right angles. • Perpendicular lines

• Perpendicular Lines – lines that intersect at right angles. • Perpendicular lines have slopes that are opposite reciprocals of each other. (Change the sign and flip the fraction) E 4 7 E 5 E 6 0 • Vertical and horizontal lines are perpendicular to each other.
