Sneyd Academy PE Leaders Miss Preston (Year 2 Teacher ) Mr Mould (Year 5 Teacher) Miss Ward (Year 6 Teacher)

Sneyd Academy PE At Sneyd Academy all our children have 2 hours of PE a week. Children in years 3 -6 also attend swimming lessons for a whole term.

Sneyd Academy This year we have chosen to work closely with sports provision company Bee Active. This enables most of our staff to receive excellent CPD in an area they feel they need to develop and children benefit from quality PE lessons. Bee Active also provide after school clubs, playground engagement and lunchtime clubs. In addition to this, we have had the Golden Mile implemented and HIIT workshops delivered to every child in the school.

Sneyd Academy We have organized HITT workshops for every single child in school in order to improve fitness.

Sneyd Academy We have spent a lot of our budget mainly on improving the resources that are available for children in PE. We have bought brand new gymnastic equipment, inclusive resources such as standing basketball nets and equipment needed for multi-skills. We have also bought a new trolley filled with equipment that will promote physical activity at play times and lunchtimes.
