Technology in Education and techniology The traditional classroom �Over the past 35 years, there has been significant changes in the teaching and learning experience in regards to the trends in the use of technology in Education. �Since the past centuries: - a teacher centrerd approach - chalk andblackboard -students carrying heavy bags -tons of textbooks -spening countless hours at the library -having to be present physically at a class

The Trends Beging Early stages The traditional classroom Introduction of microsft - 1981 the first version of windows. - 1983 the second version; 1995 highly improved version with 5 releases. - Windows 98: significant improvement to previous - Widnows 2000, halmark of the evolution of the classroom �Chalk board use diinished �White baord and marker being used �Integrating microsooft and computers in the teaching and learning experience

Moden day 2015 The future Introduction of microsft - Worlwide recognition fo technology and it’s use in education - Gagets and other devices enhanciing and transforming the classroom - Online schooling - Interactive interfaces: touch screen, mooc (massive open online course) �A teacher less class or limited teacher interaction �Technology that responds �The virtualized classroom (so far just a theory)
