1. What are my THTs and how have they been calculated? • THT stands for ‘Toot Hill Target’ Grade. • You have been given a THT for each of the courses you are currently studying. • The THT is a calculation that includes: 1. The results you achieved personally at GCSE 2. The national average of attainment students get in this course nationally. • If you achieve your THT… you are achieving at least in line with the national average of progress for that course. • So… at Toot Hill College we expect all students to achieve their THT in each of their courses by the end of their two years with us.

5. What are the other requirements for re-entry to Year 13? 1. Attendance: At Toot Hill College, we expect 100% Present and Authorised attendance from all students. Any figure below this percentage will be taken into consideration when agreeing re-entry to Year 13. 2. Homework and Effort: At Toot Hill College, we expect all students to try their best. As such, homework and effort scores will also be taken into consideration when agreeing re-entry to Year 13.
