Acceptance of What Is While a lot of Personal Development workshops, counsellors and Personal Coaches are after pointing out what’s wrong with you, my Get Naked workshop is designed to ACCEPT and EMBRACE yourself for who you are today. There is nothing wrong with you, you just have a personal wish and drive to improve yourself and live life to your full potential. Although all sections are equally important, starting of right will put you on an accelerated path to living the your life according to your values, dreams and goals and will make Section 2, Getting Naked and Section 3, Recreating also a lot easier and more fun. Therefore your intention should be to dig deep and come into full contact with who you are, without any judgement or expectation and fully accept the awesomeness of YOU.

Mirror Exercise Is time to see who is behind the reflection in the mirror, this exercises have been somewhat heavy so far and now I want you to look and reflect in the mirror for 5 minutes. In that time I want you to get pass your physical appearance and find the little girl/boy inside. As you reflect, do see the real unique you, how is your currently reality serving you? What does the person in the mirror feel? What does she/he needs? Can you start seeing how the pain in your past has served you to be who you are right now? Can you feel the love coming back from the reflection? I want you to feel what you see and put it into words for the feeling will heal as the process moves forward.

Reality Check Exercise This upcoming exercise will seriously shift your current perspective of reality to remove the blinders and see life and events just as they are. You might never see life, love, stress the same way again. Tighten up your seatbelt and let’s go.

The next part will be a NAKED reality check, and if done correctly will get rid of unnecessary stress and get you ready for truly stripping the layers. This is the time to look within yourself, I’m going to help you with clearing the distorted views of life, which will give you an honest perspective of who you truly are and what you want. By filling out the chart, you will find important clues about yourself, which you will use moving forward in this process. You will realize soon enough how what you say you want, do, tolerate and complain about is not in line with your true values, hence removing the stress you put on the constant things that show up in your daily life.

Reality Check Exercise For example, I might say I want to look like a model, but I enjoy my wine and cheese too much to stop consuming it, so when I stress about my weight is useless energy for is not really a present value of mine at this moment, I am valuing instant gratification, relaxation and maybe fun more than working out and eating super healthy. What you complain about and in your current reality must be serving you in such a way that it keeps being part of your life. Another example; you complain about the traffic but you choose to live far from work, move to a busy city and get in the car every day at the same time. How is complaining serving you to change the current reality? You will also discover how your tolerations are not in line with what you want and are more in line to your current values. Again, you have the power to change it after you see and accept your current reality. YOU can’t change what YOU don’t accept. Don’t stress, it will all make sense at the end. The chart below can be done longer as things keep showing up in your life, for today’s purpose we are going to do just a few so you understand how this tool can serve you dissolve unnecessary stress in the future.

Now that you have done a few examples, make the list of the things you are presently tolerating that do not serve you or aren’t in line with your current reality, acceptance of what is. This will remove the stressors of what is not. Another example; you complain about the traffic but you choose to live far from work, move to a busy city and get in the car every day at the same time. How is complaining serving you to change the current reality? Now go and make 20 examples of your current goals and how they are not matching your actions. NEXT module will give us a clearer window of our true values and create the foundation to build the best reality and action steps.
