A 1 pm lectures starts at 1: 05 pm, finishes at 1: 55 pm Ø Most lectures, tutorials and laboratory sessions will require you to bring things along so come prepared. eg. Ø Lecture notes (printed OR via your device) Ø Lab manual Ø Safety glasses / lab coat / covered shoes Ø Assessment “hurdles”, such as safety quizzes.

Ø System sort Allocate+ closes and sorts, to give as many students as possible a clash-free timetable. Ø Tuesday 21 July (today) Ø Click on the My Allocations tab to see your timetable. Ø Check for clashes Ø Make changes only if room is available Ø Add activities for unallocated units Ø Friday 7 August - Last day to add Semester 2 on-campus units.

Ø 31 August – CENSUS DATE - Last day to discontinue Semester 2 units without incurring fees. Ø 28 September – Last day to discontinue Semester 2 units with 'Withdrawn' showing on your academic record. Semester 2 units discontinued after this date will show as a ‘fail‘. Ø Melbourne Cup Day – Tuesday 3 November is NOT a University Holiday. Ø Mid semester break is from Monday 28 September until Friday 2 October. Ø Semester 2 examination timetables can be accessed via WES from 21 September. Ø At the end of semester you will have a “SWOT VAC” period of one week and then exams are scheduled over three weeks from 2 November to 20 November.
