DCPS Statement on Grading Guidance • In response to the OVID-19 health emergency, DCPS

DCPS Statement on Grading Guidance • In response to the OVID-19 health emergency, DCPS has rioritized quity and rigor in our grading policies to ensure all students are supported academically as they navigate the challenges of the pandemic. Modifications to our grading policy include: – Students who earn a “C” and/or “D” grade will see it displayed on their transcript as passing grades of “P” – Students ay lect or “C” and/or “D” grades to isplay n their transcript and count toward their GPA – Students may elect to have grades of “A” and/or “B” display n their transcript s passing grades of “P” – A rade of P” s PA neutral nd indicates that a student demonstrated proficiency in the course – Students are assigned “I” (incomplete) grades if they have not yet met course standards – Students with “I” grades, have until January 2021 to resolve “I”s from last school year. Students have until the end of summer 2021 to resolve “I” grades from this school year. 18
