Sam, who was mentally-handicapped worked in starbucks. On one occasion , he took in an abandoned girl in the hospital and named her Lucy.

Though he only possessed the intelligence equivalent to a seven-year-old child, he attentively attended to Lucy and gave all the love to her. But as Lucy grew old, her intelligence even surpassed that of Sam. The court rendered that it was inappropriate for Sam to take care of Lucy, thus they wanted to deprive him of Lucy’s custody.

In order to win over Lucy’s custody, Sam turned to a lawyer for help. Through so much difficulties, he finally won the case and continued living with his little girl.
