Competition venue • Competition will be held in Mäkelänrinne Swimming Center • Competition pool is 50 m pool and has 10 lanes, in competition 8 lanes will be used. • 25 m diving pool will be used as warm-up pool

Competition Format • Events in 50 m, 100 m and 200 m with 9

Competition Format • Events in 50 m, 100 m and 200 m with 9 or more athletes entered will be conducted as heats and finals. Best 8 athletes according to the Youth World Para Swimming Point Scores 2019 will advance to the final. • Non-viable events will be swam at the end of the morning session. • Other viable events in 50 m, 100 m and 200 m with 8 or fewer athletes will be conducted as direct finals and swum only during the afternoon session. • Events in 400 m and Relays will be conducted as time finals and swum only during the afternoon session.

Medals • Two sets of medals will be awarded in each event: • The best three athletes with a Review with/without fixed date and Confirmed status will receive medals in the "internationally classified" category. Minus one rule will be applied. • The best three athletes with a New status will receive medals in the "nationally classified" category. Minus one rule will be applied. • Medal Ceremonies will be at the venue after Finals session

Warm-Up • Warm-up is for the swimmers competing in the session. • Teams are responsible for the health and safety and well being of their own athletes. • A swimmer shall not enter the warm-up without being under the direct supervision of their coach • Paddles, Flippers or Snorkels are not allowed • There will be designated lanes for VI athletes, S 1 -3 athletes and for starts (one-way)

Advertising / Branding • Teams are responsible for ensuring compliance with WPS Swimming Rules • Body advertisement are not allowed in any way whatsoever (this include tattoos and symbols) (WPS Reg. 3. 7. 3. 1) • The Referee has the authority to exclude any competitor whose swimsuit or body symbols do not comply with these rules • Tattoo advertising blocked out including the “Olympic Rings”.

(WPS Reg. 6. 3. 4) • Withdrawal forms are available from the Swimming Information Desk (SID) or Swimming Manager. • € 50 Euro fine for non-compliance – the athlete will be withdrawn from future events until the fine is paid (WPS Reg. 10. 8. 2) • Team Managers are requested to report to the Technical Delegate or Swimming Manager to pay the fine
