(Time of quiet to be in presence of the Lord)
In your Resurrection, O Christ. All Let heaven and earth rejoice. Alleluia!
Modern Song: ‘Beautiful Saviour (Planetshakers)’ Traditional Hymn: ‘We have a Gospel to proclaim’ SONG/HYMN
Blessed are you, Lord God of our Salvation. All to you be glory and praise for ever!
As once you delivered your people from Egypt. All and led them to freedom in the promised land.
So now, you have delivered us from the dominion of darkness: All and brought us into the Kingdom of your Risen Son.
May we, the first fruits of your new creation: All rejoice in this new day you have made, and praise you for your mighty acts.
Blessed be God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit: All Blessed be God for ever!
The night has passed, and the day lies open before us; let us pray with one heart and mind.
All As we rejoice in the gift of this new day, so may the light of your presence, O God, set our hearts on fire with love for you; now and for ever. Amen.
THE WORD OF GOD Living and Powerful
PSALM Psalm 29 (Good News Translation)
Praise the LORD, you heavenly beings; praise his glory and power. 2 Praise the LORD's glorious name; bow down before the Holy One when he appears.
3 The voice of the LORD is heard on the seas; the glorious God thunders, and his voice echoes over the ocean. 4 The voice of the LORD is heard in all its might and majesty.
5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars, even the cedars of Lebanon. 6 He makes the mountains of Lebanon jump like calves and makes Mount Hermon leap like a young bull.
7 The voice of the LORD makes the lightning flash. 8 His voice makes the desert shake; he shakes the desert of Kadesh.
9 The LORD's voice shakes the oaks and strips the leaves from the trees while everyone in his Temple shouts, “Glory to God!”
10 The LORD rules over the deep waters; he rules as king forever. 11 The LORD gives strength to his people and blesses them with peace.
Glory to the Father, in the Son, by the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and shall be for ever. Amen. Or: Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and shall be for ever. Amen.
Open our ears, glorious Lord Christ, to hear the music of your voice above the chaos of this world; open our eyes to see the vision of your glory, for you are our King, now and for ever. Amen.

3 Give praise to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In his great mercy he has given us a new birth and a living hope. This hope is living because Jesus Christ rose from the dead. 4 He has given us new birth so that we might share in what belongs to him. This is a gift that can never be destroyed. It can never spoil or even fade away. It is kept in heaven for you. 5 Through faith you are kept safe by God’s power. Your salvation is going to be completed. It is ready to be shown to you in the last days. (1 Peter 1. 3 -5)
Death is swallowed up in victory: All where, O death, is your sting? Christ is risen from the dead, All the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. Glory to the Father, in the Son, by the Holy Spirit: All Death is swallowed up in victory: where, O death, is your sting?
PRAYERS FOR THE WORLD
-For our family, friends and all whom we love -For the day and its tasks
That Jesus, the Good Shepherd who gave his life for the sheep, recover the straggler, bind up the injured, strengthen the sick and lead the healthy and strong to new pastures.
(We offer ourselves to the Lord)
All God of glory, by the raising of your Son you have broken the chains of death and hell: fill your Church with faith and hope; for a new day has dawned and the way to life stand open in our Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.
THE LORD’S PRAYER Rejoicing in God’s new creation, as our Saviour taught us, we pray with confidence:
(Modern Version) Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be your name; Your kingdom come; Your will be done; on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours, now and for ever. Amen. (Traditional Version) Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Modern Song: ‘Death was arrested’ Traditional Hymn: ‘At the Name of Jesus’ SONG/HYMN
SENDING OUT May the Risen Christ give us the joys of eternal life: All Amen.
