(Time of quiet to be in presence of the Lord)
In your Resurrection, O Christ. All Let heaven and earth rejoice. Alleluia!
Modern Song: ‘Led like a Lamb’ Traditional Hymn: ‘Tell out my soul’ SONG/HYMN
Blessed are you, Lord God of our Salvation. All to you be glory and praise for ever!
As once you delivered your people from Egypt. All and led them to freedom in the promised land.
So now, you have delivered us from the dominion of darkness: All and brought us into the Kingdom of your Risen Son.
May we, the first fruits of your new creation: All rejoice in this new day you have made, and praise you for your mighty acts.
Blessed be God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit: All Blessed be God for ever!
The night has passed, and the day lies open before us; let us pray with one heart and mind.
All As we rejoice in the gift of this new day, so may the light of your presence, O God, set our hearts on fire with love for you; now and for ever. Amen.
THE WORD OF GOD Living and Powerful
PSALM Psalm 91 part 1 (Good News Translation)
1 Whoever rests in the shadow of the Most High God will be kept safe by the Mighty One. 2 I will say about the LORD: “He is my place of safety. He is like a fort to me. He is my God. I trust in him. ”
3 He will certainly save you from hidden traps and from deadly sickness.
4 He will cover you with his wings. Under the feathers of his wings you will find safety. He is faithful. He will keep you safe like a shield or a tower.
5 You won’t have to be afraid of the terrors that come during the night. You won’t have to fear the arrows that come at you during the day.
6 You won’t have to be afraid of the sickness that attacks in the darkness. You won’t have to fear the plague that destroys at noon.
7 A thousand may fall dead at your side. Ten thousand may fall near your right hand. But no harm will come to you. 8 You will see with your own eyes how God punishes sinful people.
Glory to the Father, in the Son, by the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and shall be for ever. Amen. Or: Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and shall be for ever. Amen.
Keep us, good Lord, Under the shadow of your mercy And, as you have bound us to yourself in love, Leave us not who call upon your Name, But grant us your salvation, Made known in the cross of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

The body is meant for the Lord. And the Lord is meant for the body. 14 By his power God raised the Lord from the dead. He will also raise us up. (1 Corinthians 6. 13 b-14)
Death is swallowed up in victory: All where, O death, is your sting? Christ is risen from the dead, All the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. Glory to the Father, in the Son, by the Holy Spirit: All Death is swallowed up in victory: where, O death, is your sting?
PRAYERS FOR THE WORLD
-For our family, friends and all whom we love -For the day and its tasks
That God gave us the grace to have the same love for each other, be one in spirit and mind, and do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. (cf. Phil. 2. 2 -3)
(We offer ourselves to the Lord)
All Risen Christ, from whom no door is locked, no entrance barred: open the doors of our hearts, that we may seek the good of others and walk the joyful road of sacrifice and peace, to the praise of God the Father. Amen.
THE LORD’S PRAYER Rejoicing in God’s new creation, as our Saviour taught us, we pray with confidence:
(Modern Version) Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be your name; Your kingdom come; Your will be done; on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours, now and for ever. Amen. (Traditional Version) Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Modern Song: ‘Hope is alive’ Traditional Hymn: ‘Jesus lives, thy terror now’ SONG/HYMN
SENDING OUT May the Risen Christ give us the joys of eternal life: All Amen.
