Principle #3 Discipline Behaviour needs to be grounded in obedience and derived from respect. There will be no slacking or bending of rules. Nicolas Constantin
Principle #4 Unity of Command Each employee should have one and only one manager. Nicolas Constantin
Principle #5 Unity of Direction The leader generates a single plan and all play their part in executing that plan. Nicolas Constantin
Principle #6 Subordination of Individual Interests While at work, only work issues should be undertaken or considered. Khaleel Jhungeer
Principle #7 Remuneration All should receive fair payment for their work; employees are valuable and not simply an expense. Khaleel Jhungeer

Criticism #1 Management Oriented Theory It does not give much attention to the problems of the workers. Khaleel Jhungeer
Criticism #2 Lack of Importance to Informal Organization The administrative management theory does not give any importance to informal organization or groups. It gives importance only to the formal organization structure. Khaleel Jhungeer
Criticism #3 Concepts borrowed by Military Science Some of the concepts of administrative management theory were borrowed from military science. They tried to apply these concepts to the social and business organizations. Khaleel Jhungeer
Criticism #4 Mechanical Approach It does not deal with some of the important aspects of management such as motivation, communication and leading. Khaleel Jhungeer
