Introduction & Recap Cllr Mahfouz www. ealing. gov. uk/gurnell • Exciting news that Ealing Council is continuing to invest in sports leisure and recreational facilities at a challenging time for local authorities – a circa £ 65 m programme across the borough • This includes investment of an estimated £ 38 m into a flagship leisure centre and outdoor sport and recreation provision at Gurnell • These facilities will provide: • High quality publically accessible facilities • Provide activity programmes to meet customer needs • Contribute to healthy lifestyles and public health agendas • Opportunities for outreach programmes to work with the community
