And Indeed From after this Or So it. “It” refers to the heart Like the stones It comes from ﺵ ﺩ ﺩ. It means to tie a strong firm knot. In hardness Your hearts. The ‘you’ refers to Bani Israel. Then It hardened. The root letters are ﻕ ﺱ ﻭ. It means hard/solid. It is usually used for the hardness of the heart. One who is deprived of the feelings of mercy. Why? Because of sins

A fear that is present due to the greatness of someone. This fear develops when man gets the knowledge of something. And indeed From it (the stones)

This is a group of scholars That Then do you (muslims) hope? ﻁ ﻡ ﻉ means to expect or hope, to be greedy. Usually it comes for a negative desire. But it could also be for hope. Here it is for hope.

Except Those who have no knowledge of the book And they Hopes/de sires/fant asies They suppose (about the hereafter) Except And from them (the Jews) Illiterate ones. It is derived from ﺍﻣﻲ. This is an illiterate person who does not have any formal education and his knowledge is only that which his mother gave him. In this ayah, Allah is calling the ones who have no knowledge of the book illiterate

From what And destruction is for them They earn. The root is ﻙ ﺱ ﺏ. It means to earn. It is used for the work done for an advantage Their hands (the book)
