Core Course Descriptions • 7 th and 8 th grade students are placed in 8 th grade core classes according to grade level. v. Advanced placement is based on grades and teacher recommendation. Elective Course Descriptions • 7 th-grade students choose 2 -semester electives or one-year-long elective. • 7 th Grade Elective Courses --------------------------------- • 8 th-grade students choose 2 -semester electives and 1 year-long elective, or 2 - year-long electives, or 4 -semester electives. • 8 th Grade Elective Courses
Elective Course Selection Process Part 1 2021 -2022 School Year 1. Students will complete a Google Form of the elective choices they would like to have for the 2021 -22 school year. They will rank their choices on the form provided from 1 -10. v 7 th Grade Elective Choice Ranking Form v 8 th Grade Elective Choice Ranking Form v. Please note Elective Course choices are not guaranteed and subject to teacher and class availability.
Elective Course Selection Process Part 2 2021 -2022 School Year 2. Students, with parent consent, will sign-up for their top elective class choices. v. A link will be sent to all incoming 7 th and 8 th grade returning students one week after receiving their Google Form of ranked choices. v. Please note Elective Course choices are not guaranteed and subject to teacher and class availability.
