6 th Grade Course Offerings Alice Seppanen, Principal, Oakview Middle School 4 Language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies are year-long courses taught by a team of teachers. Each exploratory rotation course is one quarter in length. Physical education is a yearlong course taught on alternating days. On the days alternating with physical education, students will choose, or be recommended for, one of the elective courses.
