West Island School What is 1 -2 -1? An opportunity to: • Talk individually with your tutor • Reflect and review your approaches to learning, progress across your subjects and wider learning • Work collaboratively with other students • Set targets and identify strategies to achieve these

West Island School What is 1 -2 -1? The first session will cover: • • Organising lockers Using lockers effectively Managing their bags To understand what self-management means for a new Year 7 student • To develop strategies to make your child an effective self manager

West Island School MIDYIS • Online assessment that will be taken in the first few weeks of term • Your child cannot revise for it and should not worry about it • The results help inform teachers of pupils strengths and areas for improvement • At the meet the tutor evening you will be given more information regarding these results and what they mean
