IDEA – PRODUCTS - APPLICATION The term textile remnants designates: - Textile scrap: pure trimmings, textile industry cut parts - Soft polyurethane waste - Vegetable fibres waste of: hemp, cutton, flax, silk and, coconut - Animal fibres: wool, horsehair, hair Slovenia is to remove more than 5, 000 m³ textile remnants annually. At lest half of them are left on dumping grounds, some are burnt, some are used as technical textile, and a great deal of them are burnt in foreign cement factories where textile remnants are welcomed as fuel.
