Students must notify the college of any such changes.

POST-SECONDARY PLANNING “TERMS TO KNOW” • Early Action: Applied early; receive early notification of decision; not binding • Early Decision: Applied early; receive early notification of decision; binding • Regular Decision: Commonly used; Colleges will hold all applications and notify decisions to all applicants at the same time • Rolling Admission: Colleges make decisions on applications as they receive them. • Open Admissions: College accepts virtually all high school grads until spaces are filled • Deferred Acceptance: College is postponing the admissions decision (may need more info. from applicant) • Waitlisted: May be reconsidered if enough accepted students don’t enroll (may provide improved info. )
