Discussion on Contingency Whitewater Boating Flow Studies 41
Contingency Whitewater Boating Flow Studies REC 4 TSP n Contingency Study(s) - If appropriate, conduct whitewater boating studies on runs in bypass reaches § In consultation with the Recreation TWG, determine if whitewater boating studies are necessary to further assess whitewater boating opportunities in the bypass reaches based on information developed in the tasks above and a review of the hydrologic record. If appropriate, identify target reaches where flow studies are needed and determine study objectives that consider the physical and operational constraints of the Project, and PCWA’s ability to release flows. § If determined to be necessary, conduct whitewater boating studies on specific runs in the bypass reaches. 42
