What is “Chew on This”? • Chew on This is a program created for team members to get familiar with different products, explore cooking techniques and understand flavor/texture profiles. This way we’ll continue strengthening our Personal Chef and Friendly Butcher brand pillars. • Ideally, by trying these products team members will be able to share their experience with customers and help sell the products. ©Wild Fork Foods 2017 | USA Update | August 2017 2
How does it work? • Once a month a product will be selected announced via the online campus in the Chew on This section – Products are selected based on: • If The item was overproduced • It’s expiring soon • Not selling in the stores • Sign up by the due date & you’ll get the product for free! • If you don’t want to participate, no worries! What’s the catch? • The only catch is you have to submit a photo of what you made by the end of the month. • If a picture isn’t submitted, you’ll be disqualified from the next month’s product. • We suggest getting those angles & lighting just right for your picture since there’s a prize involved! ©Wild Fork Foods 2017 | USA Update | August 2017 4
Wait, there’s a prize? ! • Yes! There will be a quarterly contest in which the top 2 pictures of each month in the quarter are selected by a panel of judges. • Voting is based on the presentation of the dish & creativity, does it make our mouth water? How is the winner picked? • Since this is a quarterly contest, it means there will be 6 top photos for each quarter. – 2 top photos for each month (Quarter = 3 months) • There are 3 judges in the office & will be judging photos anonymously so they won’t know who made what. • The top 6 will then be posted on our Instagram story where our followers will have to vote for their favorite dish & ©Wild Fork Foods 2017 | USA Update | August 2017 6
