Why are we running a campaign? Because of the high numbers and frequency of injuries attributed to: • Falls from vehicles • Falls from items of mobile plant • Slips, trips and falls on the beds of trailers

Highways injury stats (HE database for injuries recorded between Apr-12 and Jan-15) A total

Highways injury stats (HE database for injuries recorded between Apr-12 and Jan-15) A total of 40 injuries, or varying severity, recorded were categorised as follows: • 65% – Stepping from vehicle / plant onto the ground or floor surface (26 no) • 15% – Accessing or exiting the cone well of TM vehicles (6 no) • 13% – Slips & trips on debris on the beds of trailers (5 no) • 8% – Other (3 no)
