Scaled Scores • Each child will achieve a raw score Reading /50 GPS /70 Maths /110 The government will decide what raw score is required to obtain a scaled score of 100 (expected standard. ) Anything below that raw score will result in a lower scaled score and therefore represents not reaching the expected standard. Anything higher may result in a higher scaled score, if a child achieves a scaled score of 110 they will achieve the ‘higher standard. ’
