Phonics • Phonics begins in Nursery where children develop their ability to listen to

Phonics • Phonics begins in Nursery where children develop their ability to listen to noises and sounds and the patterns in these before beginning to learn phonic sounds. • Phonics is an integral part of teaching children to read and write. • In school, we follow the Read, Write Inc. phonics scheme.

Snack and Milk • Children will receive a healthy snack of fruit each day.

Top-up Sessions • There are some sessions still available to purchase. • £ 15

All charges must be cleared by the given dates: – Autumn Term- Friday 11 th December – Spring Term- Friday 26 th March – Summer Term- Friday 2 nd July Nursery places may be withdrawn if termly payments for Lunch Club and additional sessions are not received by the dates above.

The forms included are an important part of our admissions procedure. • We will continue to update the Nursery area of school website with further information regarding September and with things to share with your child to help with the transition process.
