Open Door Policy When bringing a suggestion, concern, or complaint forward, the following process usually works best: § Speak to your supervisor first. Your supervisor can usually give you the information and feedback that you need. § Speak to your second level supervisor or Human Resources. If you have taken your issue to your supervisor and it has not been resolved, or if your issue involves your supervisor, you should proceed to this level. § Speak to the Executive Director. If your issue remains unresolved, speak directly with the Executive Director.
Trakstar is our new performance management system. Trakstar serves as a way to track your performance year-long and administers your performance self evaluation and review. Why Use Trakstar? • Improve communication between you and your manager about your performance • Keep track of feedback given throughout the year from yourself, your manager, and other employees • Track your progress toward your goals • Managers score your appraisal and keep you informed on the progress of your review 12
Trakstar Notes & Elements • What are notes? • Notes are feedback you can give to yourself and to your colleagues. These notes can be either constructive, recognize a job well done or log current performance activity. These notes should be tied to elements (competencies and goals) to track performance. 13
