Cover Letter to Organizer: Scentsy is a great fundraiser for the Holiday Season! Everyone is looking for unique gifts and who doesn’t love candles…but not the dangerous kind. Scentsy Wickless candles are soot-free, smokeless, flameless and most importantly, safe. Your potential customers will love Scentsy! With me as your Scentsy Consultant, you can make 20 -25% profit off your total product sales before tax. You will start out making 20% of your sales, but if your group sells over $2000 you will then make 25% of your total product sales! If you do reach that $2000 mark your group will get $500 – or more! I will also offer rewards for your top seller(s). This will give each participant something to strive for while raising money for your organization. Your little ‘worker bees’ deserve to be rewarded! The rewards will be determined when I have an idea of how many participants will be selling for the fundraiser. An example of the top seller reward is a free Scentsy Plug-in Warmer and Bar. I have included the packet that each of your sellers will have, which includes a Scentsy Fundraising catalog and order form. I will also have additional order forms available if needed during the fundraiser. When taking an order, any checks will need to be made out to me. Once the fundraiser is over, I will total the sales and write you a check for your 20 -25%. I will then place the order and it should arrive within 2 -3 weeks. If you would like to do a Holiday fundraiser, I will need to place the order by Nov. 30 th to guarantee delivery by Christmas. Meet with the Organizers § § § § Take Scentsy Products Give them a Warmer and bar Discuss donation amount Discuss how long to keep the fundraiser open Discuss “who to make checks out to” Get a plan for missing money… Explain that they will receive their donation on the 10 th of the next month.

How does it work? § § You decide how much of your commission you are willing to donate to the organization. Remember you will have expenses, but you want it to be worth the organization’s time.

§ § § If you make 25%. . . donate 20%. Still have 5% to cover your expenses. When you sell $2000 in one month you earn the Monthly Sales Award, which is a 5% bonus. You’re making 30%. . . donate 25%

§ § Something to consider… How many participants are in the fundraiser? If you have more than 10 participants…chances are pretty good you’re going to reach the $2000 PRV mark. Set the $2000 mark as a goal for the organization.

An Obstacle… § What if they state that they usually make 40%? § Ask them if they would rather make § 40% off a $10 item …profit of $4 § (customer buying cheapest product in a junk catalog) § OR § 25% off a $40 item…profit of $10 (customer buying Scentsy’s average purchase)
