2 AMG Attendance System General Description AMG Attendance System: • is a user-friendly, flexible and full featured employee management tool which allows controlling your employees’ attendance by automating timekeeping and attendance tracking. • captures data from electronic data terminals such as Badge Readers, Fingerprints, Biometric Hand Punches and simultaneously allows optional PC entry • automatically calculates employees’ working time and wages

4 Key Features Storing Employee Info AMG Attendance System enables storing all relevant info about employees, such as personal information, contact information, status information, documents, comments, and also 3 Custom Fields which can be customized and used for storing any specific data.

Policies define: • general rules regarding pay period and default values for some punch operations • holiday payment rules • overtime payment rules ▫ 3 levels of overtime ▫ 3 modes of overtime calculation (Daily Overtime, Weekly Overtime, Consecutive Days Overtime) • exceptions to be reported

8 Key Features Shifts Can include as many shift templates as you need. Shift templates can be: • fixed (fixed start and stop times) • flexible (no fixed start and stop times) The system supports also floating shift, which assumes that the system will use the Shift’s Cutoff value to find the closest shift and automatically assign an employee to that closest shift.

9 Key Features Shifts In the AMG Attendance System you can use also Shift Differentials will give you a possibility for each shift group to define some hours (e. g. night hours) for which employees will be paid at another (usually higher) rate.

10 Key Features Timecard is one of the main features of the software, where all transactions are being analyzed and total worked hours are displayed. In the Timecard table You will see how many hours, by what category and at which payment rate (Reg or OT) employee has worked each day. You will see also all the absences and missing punches.

13 Key Features Punch Analysis In AMG Attendance System there is a possibility to view the analysis of committed IN, OUT, LUNCH and BREAK punches. In the analysis are being compared scheduled and actual punch times and based on those differences you can see: • How early or late punches were committed • How many hours more or less than scheduled employee has worked

14 Key Features Payroll Export AMG Attendance System enables generating payroll reports which are to be used by 3 rd party payroll systems. The following payroll exports are being supported: • • ADP for Windows Quick Books Pro Paychex Preview Peachtree 2003

15 Key Features Settings Configuration Wizard Settings configuration wizard is designed to help first-time users to configure system's main settings. Settings configuration wizard • gives step-by-step instructions, • shows the right order of configuring system’s settings.

16 Key Features Bell Ringing This module allows creating bell schedules, according to which devices will be activated to ring a bell. The schedule defines days of the week, time of the day and duration of the ring. Fixing wrong transactions The system tracks all transactions with wrong badge numbers, wrong department codes, and wrong job codes. This can be fixed later by assigning them to the correct ones.

17 Key Features Device Polling This feature enables polling information from data collection devices, and also synchronization of changes of PC’s date and time with devices. Data can be polled both directly from the connected devices, and from the Log files. Badge Transfer Using this feature, AMG Attendance System users are given a possibility to transfer employee info included in devices (badge number, biometric data, etc. ) from one device to another.

18 Key Features Badge Backup/Restore These features give a possibility to backup the badges enrolled in the devices and then restore the badges to other devices (of same or compatible model). Manage Badges Using this feature, AMG Attendance System users are given a possibility to edit the security level of badges enrolled in the devices from the software.

19 Key Features Auto Processes • Enables automating the execution of the following tasks: • • • Running File Polling Device Optimizing Database Running Report Database Backup • The information is being stored locally on the user’s PC.

20 Key Features Alarms Enables warning users about some actions which should be performed in order to ensure the full functioning of the system. All alarm types are optional and, if not needed, can be disabled from the program’s Settings.

21 Key Features Benefit Accruals This feature allows assigning an employee a benefit time, such as Vacation time or Sick time, and automatically calculates the balance of that benefit time.

22 Key Features PC Clock allows employees to perform all time clock actions at their PC. This feature can help you to ensure the continuing work of the system in case there are some problems with data collection devices and data cannot be captured from them.

23 Key Features Database optimization AMG Attendance System offers a database management tool, such as database optimization, which will ensure efficient use of server hard disk. Database backup and restore AMG Attendance System provides also a database backup and restore tool, which is a very valuable tool for archiving the data of the system and minimizing the risk of losing information.

24 Key Features Employee Messaging AMG Attendance System enables displaying any message defined by you at data collection terminals after employee validation.

25 Key Features Status Board This feature is a good control tool which gives the supervisors a possibility to find out what employees are doing at the current time or at any moment in the last 99 hours. It defines the following six statuses: • • • Working Absent Outside Lunch Break Overtime § Daily § Weekly

26 Key Features Access via Internet In AMG Attendance System there is a possibility to access the Server via Internet connection. The only thing that you will need for that is to have Internet connection on your PC and on the server where the program’s database is stored. This is an excellent feature for those cases when the database should be available from the remote locations. Due to this feature, for instance, top managers will have a possibility to access the program’s database while being abroad. This feature will ensure more convenient use of the software, and may also result in reducing costs.
