EX- Classroom Centers, reading in class, class parties, or on field trips but not separated from teacher. Tier 2 (background check valid for 2 years): working inside classroom or on field trips with students independently without teacher supervision. EX-Reading in the hall or chaperoning field trips with independent group. Tier 3 (background check and fingerprint clearance valid for 2 years): overnight trips with students.

Tax Credit Information The Arizona tax law allows taxpayers a tax credit for contributions paid by a taxpayer during the taxable year to a public school for the support of extracurricular or cocurricular activities. $25. 00 tax credit will pay for all field trips this year.

Next Steps… • Teachers are using data from AZ Merit and their own assessments to create 90 day goals of success. • They will be using this information to strategically plan for instruction that is based on student needs and is aligned to the state standards. – For example, if a student is struggling with a concept the teacher will plan for small group instruction or reteaching of a concept. – Additionally, if a student is excelling at a concept the teacher can plan for activities to enrich or challenge the student.
