Creating the External Catalog • External Subject Table – Set up common external subjects • External School Subject Maintenance – Set up subjects by institution • School Course Classification – Enter institution’s courses
External Subject Table Multiple external subjects can be added and may use the same description
External School Subject Maintenence A school subject is added for each department with a description specific to that school and is correlated with an External Subject Area
School Course Classification Enter courses for each school subject
Creating Pseudo Courses • Develop a naming convention • Give the courses a meaningful description • Pseudo courses can be used in degree requirements
