The Snake Game – Have students take out a piece of paper and write,

The Snake Game – Have students take out a piece of paper and write, “DO NOT MOVE THIS PAPER” on the top line. – Put aside any unused desks. Place arrows on desks and that show the direction students will move. Be sure to model the direction they are to move. – Ask a question and have students write an answer on the paper. Tell the students that there can only be one winner so be sure to hide your answers. – The students who get the correct answer stand move to the next empty seat (but keep the paper on the desk) • Be sure you make sure all students are standing and facing the direction they are to move before you say, “move”. – The students who did not get the correct answer remain seated. – The student who get back to their original seat or who is closest – wins – Students can check if someone cheated by looking at the paper that is on the desk they moved to. If the answer is incorrect, yet the student moved, they cheated. http: //www. teacherspayteachers. com/Store/Chalk-Dust-Diva Copyright © 2012 Chalk-Dust-Diva
