PREPARING FOR LIFE AFTER GRADUATION Individual Senior Meeting with Counselor �Ensure progress toward graduation. �Review options for next year. �Consider all the criteria in what makes a college a good fit for you. �Standardized testing…retake SAT? Take the ACT? Accuplacer? ASVAB? �NCAA/NAIA Eligibility Center. �Senior year post-secondary timeline.

Allow 1 week for counselor role, 1 to 2 weeks for processing by the college before application is considered complete. 2. Admissions decision timeline will depend on when you applied, when they received it, and how many applications they have received (larger schools will often take longer than smaller ones). 3. Total Award= $100, 000 �EMU: Presidential Scholarship(Nov 1)- Automatic Invite ▪ 3. 5 GPA, 25 ACT, 1200 SAT ▪ 100% Tuition, Room & Board, Fees for 4 years. Fall Scholarship Deadlines �Michigan Tech: Leading Scholars Award(Oct 15)- Must apply for award ▪ 3. 3 GPA, 23 ACT, 1070 SAT ▪ 100% Tuition, Room & Board plus $1000/yr for additional expenses. �LSSU: Laker Gold Scholarship(Dec 1) ▪ 3. 8 GPA, 30 ACT, 1360 SAT ▪ 100% Tuition plus $1000 toward Room & Board �GVSU: Presidential Scholarship(Dec 31) ▪ 3. 8 GPA, 32 ACT, 1430 SAT ▪ $9, 000 -$12, 000/year for 4 years. �FSU: Founders Scholarship (Mid Dec- End of Feb)- Must complete My. Total Award: $48, 000 �U of M: Go Blue Guarantee ▪ Accepted to U of M and Complete Financial AId Requirements by March 31 ▪ Family income under $65, 000 with assets less than $50, 000 ▪ Free Tuition and Mandatory Fees �MSU: Spartan Advantage ▪ Accepted to MSU and Complete Financial Aid Requirements ▪ Pell Eligible and Family Income Below Federally Established Poverty Level ▪ 100% Tuition, Room & Board and estimated cost of books and fees.

LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP RECAP �Legacy Scholarships provides 62 credits worth of tuition, mandatory fees and a book stipend of 500 dollars per semester for 4 semesters. �Any LHS, CCHS, and BCCHS graduate qualifies for the scholarship regardless of GPA. �Must graduate with a diploma. �Sliding scale based on entry date: ▪ ▪ 8 th grade: 100% 9 th grade: 75% 10 th grade: 50% 11 th or 12 th grade 62 credits 48. 5 credits 31 credits Not eligible. �Must complete FAFSA, Battle Creek Community Foundation (BCCF) Scholarship Application and Terms and Conditions paperwork to receive money �Students will receive classroom instruction on the BCCF scholarship application. �Due March 1
