What hasn’t changed? • We have always taught this because these subjects will support all children to be happy, healthy and safe • Parents still have the right to withdraw their children from the sex education lessons (in year 6 there are 2 lessons that take place in the summer term which focus on teaching the year 6 pupils about conception), but they can’t withdraw their children from any other lessons
