Furthermore, Professor Yalda is a permanent member of the Iranian Academy of Medical Sciences. In honor of his extraordinary scientific, charismatic and humanitary character the international Prof. Yalda Academy has been founded in year 2008 by internationally renowned scientist , researchers and university professors to promote medical sciences and young researchers and accelerate worlwide the scientific cooperation between scientists and researchers. Prof. Yalda has been married to Dr. Tahereh Jafarzadeh since 1963 and they have two daughters and three grandchildren.

The academy is named after the distinguished University Professor Dr. Alireza Yalda in honor of his extraordinary scientific, charismatic and humanitarian character. Article II: Aims The aims of the academy are more especially: • To promote the medical sciences, their art and ethics for betterment of public health. • To raise the standards of the medical professions and of medical education. • To accelerate worldwide the scientific cooperation between scientists and researchers and the favorable relation among the physicians. • To promote the young researchers and scientists in medicine and public health

AIA replaces the Association of Iranian Physicians and Dentists in Germany contemporary and compatible with its scientific contents and academic activities. The Association of Iranian Physicians and Dentists in Germany, shortly VIA (Persian: کﺎﻧﻮﻥ پﺰﺷکﺎﻥ ﻭ ﺩﻧﺪﺍﻧپﺰﺷکﺎﻥ ﺍیﺮﺍﻧی ﻣﻘیﻢ آﻠﻤﺎﻥ , shortly: کﺎﻧﻮﻥ , Kanun) was founded on October 14 th and 15 th, 1961 in Cologne / Germany. From 1961 to 1980 the association's activities were centered on professional interests and social matters. The association emerged as a respected scientific organization in Germany from modernization and restructuring in the years 2001 and 2002 and was accredited by the German Academy of Postgraduate and Continuing Medical Education, and the German Medical Council, state NRW. From 2001 VIA/AIA has organized forty-five postgraduate courses and continuing medical educational congresses which have been certified form the German Academy of Postgraduate and Continuing Medical Education and the German Medical Council, state NRW, and earned a total of 298 CME points. The VIA/AIA has assigned the dentists from 2012 a total of 205 CME points on the base of scoring of BZÄK /DGZMK of the German Dental Association, and the pharmacist from November 2009 a total of 80 CME points.
